The first electric Toyota crossover with the name bZ4X will appear at British dealers of the brand only in 2022, but the company has already announced the prices for the new product.

The Toyota bZ4X electric car will enter the UK market in six versions and will cost at least 41,950 pounds (55,700 dollars at the current exchange rate). On the local market, the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado costs about the same, but the Tesla Model Y is much more expensive – from 54 thousand 990 pounds sterling ($ 73 100).

In the UK, the Toyota bZ4X will receive three basic trim levels, the most affordable of which will be offered with only a single-engine power plant, and the other two will have access to two engines as an option. In addition, the electric car Toyota bZ4X will have a Premiere Edition version, which will be additionally equipped with a JBL sound system and a panoramic roof. This bZ4X variant can only be all-wheel drive and costs 51,550 pounds sterling (68,500 dollars).

Among the equipment that the Toyota bZ4X crossover will receive in this country, are mentioned, for example, wheels up to 20 inches, multimedia with an 8-inch display and a rear-view camera, an electronic instrument panel and an air conditioning system with remote control. The seats of the electric car will receive heating and ventilation, while natural leather will not be used in the interior trim: only synthetic.

Toyota bZ4X in the most powerful 217-horsepower version spends 7.7 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h. The Tesla brand does not publish the performance characteristics of its electric vehicles, but the weakest modification of the Model Y will gain the first “hundred” in about 5 seconds, and the Performance version in 3.5 seconds.
