The KIA KX3 crossover, also known as Seltos, showed an excellent result in the C-NCAP tests, outperforming its competitors by an order of magnitude. The tests took place in China.
The C-NCAP methodology provides for a displaced impact at a speed of 64 km / h, that is, this test is the same as the Euro NCAP, but a full overlap crash test is carried out at a speed of not 56 km / h, but at around 50 km / h. According to the results of all tests, the KIA KX3 received the maximum 5 stars, the car scored a total of 85.8%. The final result consists of the indicators of protection of the driver and passengers – 86.72%, pedestrians – 73.53%, as well as the operation of active safety systems – 93.56%.
Thus, according to the results of all C-NCAP tests, the KIA KX3 turned out to be much safer than its closest competitors in the local market, which showed an average score of 65.7%.
