In the UK, truck driver Andrew Olsen won a £ 275,000 (€ 320,600) supercar in a charity raffle.
The CFTS writes about this with a link to Logist.Today.
Andrew Olsen of Risky won the McLaren 720S Spider on his 60th birthday. In total, he bought 40 lottery tickets from the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital Charitable Foundation for £ 25.
He received an email notifying him of his winnings on social media in August.
“I still come to terms with someone who tells me that I won something worth the money, this is crazy. I was told that I won the McLaren 720S Spider. This is just incredible,” said Olsen .
The trucker added that the last time he participated in the raffles was a long time ago.
Olsen has already seen what his new car will be like. He also received £ 10,000 in car operating costs and an invitation to the McLaren race track in Woking to be driven by a test pilot in the new car for the first time.
In the near future, Olsen plans to sell the car he won and help his son buy his first home.
