Apple, Xiaomi and Sony were mentioned most often among the world’s electronics manufacturers in terms of creating an electric car. However, it was Huawei who was ahead of everyone.
At the Shanghai Motor Show in April, many planned to see a car from Huawei. However, another car was shown – Seres SF5, for which the Chinese company supplies components. It is now sold on Huawei’s network.
However, there will be both the company and its own electric car – the model will be called Aotu. At the same time, all development will remain entirely with Huawei engineers, and Seres will only help at the production stage.
Huawei is clearly inspired by the success of the Seres SF5, which has received positive reviews. Note that the electronics manufacturer itself plans to provide after-sales service.
The Aweita / Avita E11 project is also being promoted in parallel – within its framework, the leading brands Huawei, CATL and Changan are going to build electric cars on a new modern platform.
Returning to the Huawei Smart Choice Seres SF5, its length is 4,700 mm with a wheelbase of 2,875 mm. The all-wheel drive modification is capable of developing power of 551 hp, and without recharging, you can drive 180 km. Prices are in the range of 216,800-246,800 yuan ($ 34,000- $ 38,700).
