A new electric car AITO was presented in China. It was created jointly by Huawei and the automaker Seres. This is reported by the CarNewsChina website.
AITO stands for Adding Intelligence to Auto. Huawei worked on the Harmony operating system for multimedia and electronics for cars, while Seres developed the platform and power plant. The crossover will be sold through the network of Huawei online stores.
AITO is a five-seat crossover with a swift design. It has slanted headlights and retractable door handles. A choice of wheels with a diameter of 19 and 20 inches. The size of the car is comparable to the Audi Q5 and Porsche Macan:

The electric car is equipped with two motors with a total capacity of 428 hp. with. and a huge (1.3 tonnes) battery with a record capacity of 200 kWh.
In addition, a 1.5-liter 125-horsepower gasoline engine generator is installed that generates electricity (like the BMW i3). It consumes only 0.8 l / 100 km. The total cruising range is 1000 km.
By the way, this is not the first Huawei car. More recently, the company presented yet another electric crossover, with the same huge battery, but without a gasoline engine.
