Hyundai has started road tests of the new minivan, which should enter the markets of developing countries in the near future. While the car carries the internal KS index. According to the Korean press, his debut will take place in 2022.

Hyundai Stargazer will be based on the platform of an extended version of the Creta crossover, called Alcazar, and the length of the new Hyundai MPV will be about 4500 mm. The car will receive several options for the layout of the cabin, including 6- and 7-seater variations.

Independent designers have published the first images based on spy photos of the Stargazer test prototype. As you can see in the render (cover photo), the design of the new Hyundai minivan will be made in the style of the Tucson and Bayon crossovers. The rear of the car, in turn, will receive its own solution with a massive block of rear lights, united by an LED strip and a chrome strip.

It is expected that in India Hyundai Stargazer will be offered with one and a half liter petrol and diesel engines with a capacity of 113 horsepower, the combination of which will be “mechanics” or “automatic”. The new minivan, most likely, will receive the same line of engines as the regular Hyundai Creta: 1.6- and 2-liter gasoline “aspirated”, aggregated with a 6-speed manual gearbox or automatic transmission.

The novelty should enter the markets of India and Indonesia in the first half of 2022.
