Hyundai has developed a sports package N Performance for the updated Santa Fe. Improvements are many: rethought the kit, altered the interior, installed new wheels and exhaust system. Sporthorse crossover is presented in the status of a concept, but the Santa Fe serial N-Line is unlikely to greatly differ from the prototype.
Externally, the Hyundai Santa Fe package N Performance easy to learn by a new grille with vertical bars and a different profile of the front bumper, bronze decor is chrome, other side skirts, hood with eyelets, overlays on the mirrors, stylized carbon composite spoiler on the tailgate and simulation of the diffuser.
Also changed the configuration of the exhaust system: derived from the down pipes to the muffler was abandoned in favor of a pair of twin tips. The regular wheels were replaced with 21-inch original semispecies wheels and low-profile tires Michelin Pilot Sport SUV 4 dimension 265/40 R21.
Interiors Santa Fe N Performance embellished in Alcantara, leather and carbon fiber. Of a composite material made of the paste on the backs of the front seats, fragments of door cards, Central tunnel and steering wheel. Original seats with the developed lateral support; adds sporty accents red stitching.
About technical improvements not reported, but the red springs and calipers in the front alluding to the custom suspension with “sport” settings, and more efficient brakes. Probably the engine and transmission change, so package N Performance will be available for versions with 202-horsepower (440 Nm) 2.2 turbo diesel and petrol versions with the 2.5 motor with a capacity of 281 horsepower and a torque of 421 Nm.
In the fourth quarter of 2020, Hyundai plans to release “charged” Santa Fe N, so delay the sales of “heated” modification of the N-Line will not. Version with sports body kit and reimagined interior will certainly appear outside the South Korean market.
