In mid-March, Hyundai unveiled the Staria minivan with an unusual spaceship-style design. At the same time, the automaker has not yet provided official data on the engines of the novelty, but now TheKoreanCarBlog has shared the main technical data on the model.
According to the publication, Hyundai Staria will be offered with a 2.2-liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 200 hp, and as an alternative, a new 3.5-liter V6 unit will be available, which consumes liquefied propane. For example, on the new KIA K8 sedan, this engine in this modification develops 240 horsepower. The driver will be able to choose one of three driving modes: Eco, Comfort and Sport.
Hyundai Staria will be available in configurations with 11, 9, 7 seats, as well as a two-seater commercial version. In the 7-seater versions of the car, the rear-row seats can automatically recline back, and in the 9-seater version, the second-row seats can be rotated 180 degrees so that the passengers sit opposite each other.
The driver has access to a virtual instrument panel and a 10.25-inch display of the infotainment complex. The car does not have a traditional transmission selector lever – the transmission modes are switched using buttons, as, for example, in the large Hyundai Palisade crossover.
