Hyundai will show a racing electric car this fall

It seems that Hyundai Motorsport has decided to open a new milestone development in the history of their cars. Namely, to release its first electric car.

It is expected that the company will present electric car not earlier than September 10, during the auto show in Frankfurt. Rumor has it that the first championship, in which will participate the presented unit is a circular electric racing cars called Electric Touring Car Races.

Like it or not, will be known only in 2020, when the start of the debut season of the championship.


Information about the release of a new racing car with fully electric propulsion confirmed by the teaser that the company Hyundai has released on its official youtube channel the other day.

Note that the electric car was developed by the Motorsport division of Hyundai Motorsport, the headquarters of which is located in the German town of Alzenau.

The division is responsible for creating cars for the world rally championship (WRC), as well as car body series TCR.

As reported by insiders, the production of the electric car went about a few months, which indirectly tells about redrawing one of the production models of the brand.
