All-electric SUV of Jaguar was given to a famous German automobile award “Golden steering wheel”. I-PACE has won in the category of medium-sized SUVs, ahead of the Audi Q3 and SEAT Tarraco.
Designed and developed in the UK, I-PACE was created from scratch as the world’s best electric car of premium class, as well as the perfect car for lovers of Jaguar. The combination of sports car performance, zero emissions, exceptional refinement and practicality of all-wheel drive make the I-PACE the best choice in its segment.
Li-ion battery with a capacity of 90 kWh allows a range of up to 470 km and can be recharged from 0 to 80% in just 40 minutes (100 kW DC). Two light, compact and efficient engine Jaguar provide a total power of 400 HP and a torque of 696 Nm, and from 0 to 100 km per hour the car accelerates in just 4.7 seconds.
The award “Golden steering wheel” was taken by the General Director of Jaguar Land Rover, Dr. Ralf Shpet at the ceremony in Berlin, said:

For 43rd award “Golden steering wheel” millions of readers of AutoBild and its sister publications from more than 20 European countries, as well as readers of the weekly newspaper Bild am Sonntag chose their favorite car. After the counting of votes of the 21 finalists – three in each of the seven categories – were thoroughly tested by the jury on the highway Lausitz-Ring, composed of the riders leading journalists and automotive experts. The jury paid special attention to the dynamics of movement, connection, construction and total cost of ownership.
