Japan has found a way to increase the cross-country ability of the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. The local studio Jaos is ready to increase the ground clearance, take care of the safety of the thresholds, wheel arches, bumpers and bottom, install “toothy” tires with 20-inch alloy wheels and a power trunk with an additional roof light. The kit will be complemented by chrome lining on the rear-view mirrors, “rally” mudguards and a custom exhaust system.
Switching to 285/55 R20 Toyo Open Country R tires and Battlez coil springs increased ground clearance from 235mm to 275mm. The body around the perimeter was protected with plastic pads, the lower part of the bumpers was modified, and the thresholds were reinforced.
Behind, the tuning version is most easily recognizable by a somewhat curious exhaust, perforated mudguards, and a strut on the roof. Jaos’ demo Land Cruiser 300 has matching promotional stickers and carbon-look trims. The engine and transmission have not been improved, which means that a 415-horsepower V6 3.4 petrol has been preserved under the hood.
