The court fined the owner of Lamborghini Aventador 170 thousand hryvnia. The elite car has been temporarily withdrawn.
In Kiev, law enforcement officers seized the Lamborghini Aventador supercar, the cost of which is estimated at 600 thousand euros. This is reported by the Kiev customs office on Friday, July 9th.
“During the check of the electronic customs database by the Kiev customs, it was established that this vehicle was imported into the territory of Ukraine through one of the customs offices on the Ukrainian-Polish border by an Israeli citizen in the mode of temporary import for up to one year back in February 2020,” – says the message.
It is indicated that the car was not taken out of Ukraine at the end of the period, and its owner did not apply to the customs office to extend the period of temporary import of the sports car.
“The luxury car Lamborghini Aventador became the subject of a violation of customs rules, since the citizen who brought it to the territory of Ukraine violated Ukrainian customs legislation,” the department noted.
A protocol was drawn up on violation of customs rules under Part 6 of Art. 481 of the Customs Code of Ukraine. The car was temporarily seized, and the customs filed the case file to the court.
It is also indicated that a few days ago the court issued a decision in this case, according to which a fine of 170 thousand hryvnias was imposed on an Israeli citizen.
