Transport capsules will be able to move in sealed tunnels at speeds up to 1200 kilometers per hour. The design of transport infrastructure – tunnels and train stations – is being developed by the famous contemporary architect Zaha Hadid.
Hyperloop technology is the next generation of ground transportation, the concept of which was proposed by Elon Musk. Hyperloop will allow you to travel in capsules through special pipes at a speed of more than 1200 km / h.
“From Milan to Malpensa Airport in 10 minutes” is the slogan of Hyperloop Italia.
The distance in question is about 50 kilometers, which theoretically can be covered by car in 50 minutes, but in real life, due to constant traffic jams, the road takes much longer.
Hyperloop capsules are about 20 meters long and 2.7 meters in diameter. The energy for the operation of the transport system must be fully provided by solar panels located on the roofs of the ports and the tunnels of the hyperloop themselves.
Zaha Hadid Architects recently joined the Hyperloop Italia infrastructure project. According to Hyperloop Italia CEO Bebop Gresta, the Hyperloop hubs will be intuitive to navigate, fully integrated into the urban context, safe, comfortable, affordable and built with a new generation of sustainable materials from recycled materials.
