Jeep is Recalling cars due to fire hazard


The national office of road safety USA (NHTSA) announced the recall of SUVs Wrangler 2018-2020 release and pickups Gladiator 2020, equipped with a manual transmission. It was found that the temperature of the clutch on these cars can reach 1100 degrees Celsius.

For the first time the problem was discovered on February 13, the clutch overheated from the friction that led to the cracking and breakage of the housing box. The defect found in the boxes produced in the period from August 23, 2017 to February 13, 2020, which is established on 29 818 copies Wrangler and 3419 Gladiators.
