Kawasaki Ninja H2 has transmission problems

Kawasaki’s North American division is Recalling 799 Kawasaki Ninja H2 motorcycles 2018-2020 due to a potential engine wedge threat.

The report says that the gearbox gears may not return to their original position when shifting, which can cause the engine to lock. A serious problem with a high accident risk.

The recalled models:

  • 2018-2020 Ninja H2 SX
  • 2018-2020 Ninja H2 SXSE
  • 2019-2020 Ninja H2 SXSE+

Solution: Kawasaki will update its FI-ECU software. Until then, owners are not advised to ride their motorcycles.

Just in case, owners in other regions should check with their dealers for more information.
