The car is designed in the spirit 1419-strong Hoonicorn RTR, but built on the basis coupe Mustang of the third generation. In the title, the authors beat the nickname of cars produced from 1978 to 1993 – Fox-body Mustang.

Study looks Hoonifox – nicknamed the Fox-body Mustangs, third generation received for the use of the same platform – worked Hollywood graphic designer and Creator of the new Batmobile Ash Thorp, and co-founder of the Hoonigan’s Brian Scotto. According to the Block Hoonifox preserved the main attributes of sports cars of the 1980s: it is low, wide and deliberately rude.


While Hoonifox exists in the form of renders, but it has all chances to become the next Hoonicorn. Western journalists agree that the coupe was racing four-wheel drive and several power plants to choose from. For example, it may be forced Ecoboost V6 from the Ford GT, or even a five-liter V8 engine with a hybrid add-in.

In October 2018, Ken Block and The Hoonigans presented Hoonitruck, custom truck that looks like a Ford F-150 1977 model year. Its equipped with all-wheel drive, like in rally cars, and the twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine, modified Ford Performance.
