KIA is gearing up to debut the new K8 flagship sedan. Previously, the automaker shared official images of the model’s exterior, and now the interior design has been revealed on the Web. Spy shots were posted on Instagram.
The K8 big sedan will replace the K7 model in the KIA lineup and will be the first car of the brand for which fundamentally new design solutions were used. For example, he received a frameless diamond-shaped radiator grille and decorative patterns on the sides of it. A single horizontal canopy was installed at the stern, visually divided into two segments in the area of the hind wings. In addition, the car has got a new 2D KIA logo.
As for the interior, in the new pictures you can see in detail a one-piece widescreen “tablet”, the left half of which is reserved for the dashboard, and the right half for the multimedia system. A washer-shaped transmission selector is located on the wood-like center console.
KIA has not yet disclosed details about the engine line, however, according to unofficial data, the K8 will be offered with a 3.5-liter petrol engine and a capacity of about 300 horsepower, as well as a hybrid power plant.
The K8 sedan is expected to premiere shortly, with the model appearing on the home market by the end of 2021.
