KIA registered a new brand logo

The KIA company has registered with the patent office of South Korea (KIPRIS) a new corporate logo, which may eventually replace the present emblem of the automaker. It is reported Motor1.

The new logo represents the United letters, which can be done in either black or white. Characters with a similar style of the company used in electric concept car Imagined by KIA, presented in March this year at the Geneva motor show and designed to give an idea about future models of the South Korean brand.

It is possible that these badges can further their green KIA models with hybrid or electric propulsion systems. It is worth noting that the company already sells some of its cars under the individual logos. For example, in the home market liftback Stinger offered with the logo “E”, and for the flagship SUV Mohave new generation created its own unique logo.

Previously a new corporate logo introduced of the Volkswagen. The next logo will be a flat – style icons that were used on the original Beetle. The company believes that the simplified logo would be better reflected on the advertising sites, as well as on the screens of gadgets. Depending on the type of cars in the logo would use few colours: black, red and blue.
