KIA recently unveiled an update for the Ceed family, and today we can share the first real photos of the PROCEED and Ceed Tourer models, including the interior.
The five-door hatchback, station wagon and Proceed Shooting Brake version now have a completely redesigned front end, an updated rear, specially shaped wheels, new body colors and an updated, more modern interior. The facelifted Ceed family will go on sale early in the fourth quarter of 2021. In line with customer needs and the overall drive to improve mobility efficiency, the new KIA Ceed range will also be available with newly developed powertrains.
The Ceed family, long recognized for its key role in the Korean brand’s success in Europe, was the first KIA vehicle designed and built in the Old Continent to meet the tastes of discerning drivers. With a 28% share of the European KIA market, the Ceed is a multi-body vehicle that has earned market confidence alongside successful competitors who have dominated the segment for decades.
The updated Ceed family offers customers a wide range of motors. There is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and a mild hybrid (MHEV) ranging from 120 to 204 hp, which are joined by turbocharged petrol engines of 1.0 to 1.5 liters. In addition, there will be an LPG version based on the 1.0 turbocharged engine.
