KIA’s Telluride crossover will get a modest look by 2022. It looks recognizable and has a slightly redesigned grille with an all-new KIA badge. Additional changes are limited, but the new KIA logo can also be found on the tailgate.
In the cabin, all trims get Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control-Curve. It automatically slows down the vehicle as it approaches a bend in the road. Entry-level LX and S trim levels get additional standard equipment including an automatic climate control system, highway assistance and a 10.25-inch infotainment system with GPS navigation. The latter replaces the previous 8-inch display that was previously standard on the base model.
The updates come with price increases as the 2022 Telluride LX starts at $ 32,790. That’s $ 600, but considering the extra hardware, that’s not bad.
The 2022 Telluride S will now cost you $ 35,290, up $ 700 more. Finally, the EX and SX trim levels increase in price by $ 200.
Regardless of which trim is chosen, all Tellurides are powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine that puts out 291bhp. and 355 Nm of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that can be mated to an optional AWD system for an additional $ 2,000 on most trim levels.
