Kiev will give up the minibuses?

Deputy head of the KMDA Alexander Gustelev said that the purchase of 200 new buses for “Kyivpasstrans” significantly improved the transport situation in the capital. We have already managed to reduce traffic intervals on the busiest routes by 15-20%. But even this is not the limit.

According to Gustelev, 100 new MAZ buses are already operating on routes, and another 100 new MAZ buses will arrive in Kiev by the end of the year. This gives grounds for “Kyivpasstrans” to abandon “taxi” routes in 2021.

Gustelev did not explain the details of such a refusal, but stressed that such a refusal will help reduce congestion and improve the environmental situation in Kiev.
