Bugatti Chiron has not yet formally confirmed the record. But the new hypercar Koenigsegg Jesko can show a similar result, which will enter into the Guinness Book of Records.
Swedish company Koenigsegg Bugatti congratulated on the recent establishment of the record of the maximum speed on hypercare Chiron the newest version, which was able to accelerate up to 490 km/h. However, according to the automaker, their new Jesko will be the champion of the competition.
The company Koenigsegg believes that the new hypercar will accelerate Jesko not less than 482 km/h and will replace the fastest model of the company – the Agera RS. Novelty is equipped with the 5.0-liter V8 engine with double turbine, developing power in 1578 horsepower (22 less than the new Chiron).
In 2017, was set a world record maximum speed on hypercare Koenigsegg Agera RS. The Swedish pilot of the company Niklas Lilja has made of the average speed in both directions in 447,2 km/h on private road in Nevada (USA).
Bugatti said that their hypercar and accelerating to 40 km/h more if they conducted tests on the same track that Koenigsegg, due to higher altitude and less resistance on the road.
