Made on the basis of the 690 CC single-cylinder KTM engine, the Kramer HKR Evo2 R motorcycle is sold at a price starting from $ 22,500, which is a fairly high price tag for a racing bike of this category. To attract more customers, the manufacturer is going to release a “naked dummy” with which racers and teams will be able to do what they need, without overpaying for unnecessary things. The new bike will start at $ 15,000.
The price is still high, but it will allow the Kramer HKR Evo2 to get closer to competitors: Suzuki SV650, Yamaha MT-07 and even Aprilia RS 660. In addition to producing a budget motorcycle, the Germans plan to make ready-made kits for upgrading brakes, suspension, wheels, and so on.
Overall, it sounds good.
Although it is definitely an unfinished replica, I would be interested in contact details, anyway. Maybe this could be an interesting project.
