Lamborghini used the experience gained during the development of the Urus crossover, to create a show-car Huracan Sterrato. In fact, the brand had been a hybrid supercar and SUV – a modern version of the classics Mega Track.
Concept Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato (Italian for “white road”) was built on the basis of the Huracan EVO and features a 5.2-liter atmospheric engine V10, issuing a 640-horsepower. Work of onboard systems of the supercar crossover including all wheel drive, polnopravnym chassis, modified suspension and control system controls the thrust vector logo Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata with predictive logic. He received a special calibration to drive outside paved roads.
Huracan ground clearance increased by 47 millimeters, angles of entry and exit – on-one and 6.5 percent, respectively. Track increased by 30 millimeters. Dvuhdverka received aluminum protective panel bottoms and sills, mud flaps from a mixture of carbon fibres and elastomeric rubber and composite lining around the engine cover and air intakes. In the lounge there is a titanium cage, four-point belts, two-piece carbon fiber seats and aluminum floor panels.
“Sterrato Huracan Lamborghini demonstrates its commitment to shape the future – said the head of research and development of the Italian brand Maurizio Reggiani – supercar with off-road capability opens the door for yet another benchmark in terms of emotions and pleasure from driving”.
