Lamborghini presented a rear-wheel drive Huracan Evo RWD

A year after the debut of the updated Huracan Lamborghini introduced its rear-drive version, called the Evo RWD.

The new Lamborghini Huracan Evo RWD is addressed to lovers of old-school luxury cars with atmospheric engine and classic rear-wheel drive. The car retains the same 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine, but compared to the all-wheel-drive version of its performance reduced slightly – it now has an output of 610 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and torque of 560 Nm at 6500 rpm. Gearbox is the same – a seven-step “robot” with double clutch.

dneprovodskaya transmission, according to the head of Lamborghini Stefano Domenicali, the driver promises “unfiltered feedback and more exciting emotion.” A new traction control system is designed and calibrated specifically for rear-wheel drive drivetrain with the goal of providing a more uniform and powerful traction during corner exit acceleration. Mass Huracan Evo RWD is 1,389 pounds (33 pounds less than “normal” Huracan Evo).

The lightweight supercar is able to accelerate from standstill to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.3 seconds (all-wheel drive modification is doing this exercise in 2.9 seconds) and reach a maximum speed of 325 kilometers per hour. Although at first glance version of RWD are difficult to distinguish from the standard Evo, it has a new front splitter, vertical aerodynamic elements in the front air intakes and new rear diffuser. Production of the Lamborghini Huracan EVO RWD will start this spring.
