Young company EdisonFuture has developed two electric concepts: the EF1-T pickup truck and the EF1-V van. Both are built on proprietary architecture, and their technology is identical.
The EF1-T truck was created to compete with electric pickups from Tesla and Ford, but in this segment it can become the most overall – the prototype length is 6200 mm. In terms of spaciousness, it will also surpass its rivals: inside there are places for six people, and three are located in front on separate chairs. The door handles are retractable, and instead of the usual side mirrors there are cameras.
The developer announced three modifications: the base one with rear wheel drive produces 405 hp. and travels 480 km on a single charge. The middle one is already four-wheel drive, and it is tuned to 700 hp. and 608 km. The all-wheel drive three-engine EdisonFuture EF1-T is rated at 816 hp. and 720 km.
The van will not have a top version, only single-engine and twin-engine versions will remain. It itself is intended for the carriage of goods, which is why there are only three places, and all the space is given to the cargo compartment with a volume of 11 cubic meters. Both the van and the pickup will have one thing – the solar panel on the roof. In clear weather, you can get up to 50 free kilometers.
Serial production of prototypes will begin in 2025. We hope that Tesla’s competitor Cybertruck will be on the market by this time.
