Lexus showed another, the fourth electric concept. This time it was the sports Lexus Electrified Sport, which, as the manufacturer assures, is made using the “secret ingredient” from the production Lexus LFA supercar.
The first thing that this teaser shows is the deliberately sporty silhouette that traditional gasoline supercars usually have, also featuring an elongated hood, a cabin capsule shifted back and a short rear overhang.

In addition, Lexus designers endowed the concept with an aggressive “front end” in the style of yesterday’s sedan – the heir to the IS model, a roof with two longitudinal bulges, a developed rear diffuser and original-shaped lights, the filling of which repeats the brand’s previous electric concepts.
For the time being, one can only guess about the characteristics of the future supercar. At the same time, Carscoops claims that Lexus promised to equip it with such a powerful “stuffing”, which will allow it to accelerate to 100 km / h in just 2 seconds and drive about 700 kilometers on a single charge.
Lexus has previously shown concept images of an electric sedan and two electric crossovers – an unnamed Electrified SUV and a coupe-like RZ 450e slated for release this spring. They are expected to be built on the new “electric” BEV architecture with multi-link suspension, an “underground” battery and “by-wire” steering.
