YouTube channel km77.com showed a video of the so-called “moose test”, with the help of which experts checked the executive sedan Lexus LS 500 of the 2021 model year.

When passing the test, the Lexus LS 500 did not noticeably reach the test value of 77 km / h. At the same time, the experts who conducted the test still praised the car. In his best attempt, the tester managed to successfully pass the “moose test” driving a Lexus LS 500 at a speed of 71 km / h.

Experts of the km77.com channel noted that, having spent more time, they would have been able to raise the Lexus LS 500 limit to 72 km / h, but nothing more. At 77 km / h, the sedan had no chance at all to return to its original lane.

Experts said that the Lexus LS 500 showed a pronounced understeer, which makes it difficult to return to its lane after avoiding an obstacle. Despite this, experts noted the sedan’s predictable as well as safe behavior. The car is understandable for the driver, and ESP intervenes quite correctly.
