Lincoln: don’t stand out

A year ago, when Lincoln presented an updated version of its flagship SUV, the Navigator, he not only made richer list of standard equipment and gave owners the opportunity to use as a key of its own smartphone, but also increased the possibilities of personalization at the expense of the three design packages exterior with a “speaking” name Monochromatic. Now plain steel and the Junior Corsair Nautilus and Aviator.

According to chief designer of Lincoln at the exteriors of Earl Lucas, monochromatic color scheme, emphasize the elegance of lines SUV and the brand. Package includes the radiator grille, badges and 20 – or 22-inch black rims. In addition, depending on the model in body color can be painted moldings and mirror housings.

Depends on the models and choice of available shades. Thus, the Navigator is still offered in the color schemes of Pristine White Ceramic, Pearl and Infinite Black. Nautilus (the successor MKX) is only available in the latest color. Corsair (the successor MKC) and Aviator – in the same Pristine White and Infinite Black, and Asher Gray.

Note that very soon all the lineup Lincoln will be confined to these four crossovers and SUVs. The MKZ sedan will be removed from production this month to free up production capacity for the Ford Bronco Sport. The flagship Continental will leave the pipeline before the end of this year. With product line expansion the determination is no: there is a joint project with Rivian, but because in the fashion industry, its terms had to be revised.
