The line of the new Lotus Eletre has been expanded with the top version of R. The heavy-duty electric crossover is already available for order at a price starting from 150,990 euros, and its production will start in 2023. This is reported by the official website of the British brand.

If the standard electric car Lotus Eletre debuted in a 600-horsepower version, then the R-version received a much more productive powertrain at 905 hp and 985 Nm. This is one of the most powerful crossovers in the world.

The new Lotus Eletre R accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.95 seconds, and its top speed is limited to 265 km/h. The battery is the same as the standard version (at 112 kW.h), but the power reserve is slightly smaller – 490 km.

The Lotus Eletre R crossover is also distinguished by a reconfigured air suspension and the presence of a special track mode. You can recognize it by its carbon decor, extendable spoiler and black 22-inch wheels. In the cabin there were metal pads on the pedals.

The Lotus Eletre R is equipped with Matrix headlights, four-zone climate control, a cabin air purification system, 1380 W acoustics and electric seats. Among the options there are carbon-ceramic brakes, and then there will be an autopilot that can drive race tracks like the famous Nurburgring.

Production of Lotus Eletre will be established in China at the Geely enterprise (the Chinese concern owns the British brand). The basic 600-horsepower model will cost from 95,000 euros.
