The Genesis GV80 crossover will soon have a luxury six-seater version. Eyewitnesses from South Korea were able to photograph the interior of the prototype with separate second-row seats, additional tablets for rear passengers, wireless charging for gadgets, an original console with a touch panel and a niche for cup holders. Genesis off-road flagship with split rear sofa will go on sale in the second half of the year.
TheKoreanCarBlog claims that the luxury version of the Genesis GV80 will be offered domestically in a 2 + 2 + 2 seating arrangement, but with more space in the second row.
The spy photo shows that widescreen touchscreens will be available for the rear passengers, and the entertainment system can be controlled via the Genesis Touch controller with handwriting recognition.
In the richly equipped five- and seven-seater Genesis GV80, the second-row seats have heating and ventilation, longitudinal electric adjustment, as well as the ability to automatically adjust the angle of the cushion and backrest. Probably, the six-seat modification will have all this, and as options, a massager and a wireless charging unit for gadgets can be added.
In South Korea, the six-seat Genesis GV80 is expected to go on sale in the third quarter as a 2022 crossover. In addition to expanding the list of trim levels, Genesis can improve the navigation system, improve the performance of active safety systems and improve the head-up display.
