The Website Autohome.com.cn has shared photos of the new crossover Haval M6 Plus. In particular, the spies managed to look into the interior of the car, where they noticed a huge screen of a multimedia system resembling that installed in a Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
The Haval M6 entered the market in 2017, based on the same platform as the previous H6. the Model underwent a facelift in 2019, and is preparing for another update just a year later. External changes are of an evolutionary nature: the M6, which will get the prefix Plus in the name, has a radiator grille with a new pattern and upgraded optics, and the rear lights are now connected by a glowing line. At the same time, the crossover will lose its “floating” roof.
But the main innovation was the large screen of the multimedia system, towering over the Central console. This element is visually combined into a single unit with a pair of Central rectangular ventilation deflectors and smoothly passes into the Central tunnel, on which the gearbox selector is located. Thus, the touchscreen completely replaces the usual center console – the newly introduced Mercedes-Bezn S-Class is also designed on the same principle.
In China, the pre-reform Haval M6 is available with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 150 horsepower (210 Nm of torque), which is combined with a six-speed “mechanic” or a seven-speed robot with two clutches. The drive unit is front – only. Changes in the engine range are not expected.
