The new Mahindra Bolero Neo is now available to order in India.
This car debuted back in 2015 under the name Mahindra TUV300. Now, with the planned modernization, the TUV300 model has been renamed Bolero Neo. It is still a 3,995 mm long frame five-door car with a very long wheelbase (2,680 mm), which is more tall (1,817 mm) than width (1,795 mm). The Bolero Neo has new bumpers and narrower headlights, and the radiator grille is more noticeably decorated with chrome, making the novelty look more solid than the “three hundred” model.
Mahindra Bolero Neo has even less changes. The instrument cluster has been redesigned, a new steering wheel has appeared, and the second row of seats now has a center armrest. Rich modifications can now boast not only a radio receiver, but even multimedia with a seven-inch screen. As before, in the trunk of the Mahindra Bolero Neo there are a pair of folding “chairs” installed along the sides. Of the safety equipment, there are only two front airbags and ABC, which are already “in the base”.
The technique of the new Mahindra Bolero Neo has hardly changed. The mHawk 3-cylinder turbo diesel with a working volume of 1.5 liters is still installed under the hood of the model, but now all versions have its most forced version with a power of 100 hp. and 260 Nm. The simple “robot” with one clutch is no longer there, the Bolero Neo is only offered with a 5-speed “mechanics”.
Despite the frame structure, the Mahindra Bolero Neo never had an all-wheel drive transmission. All versions of the novelty are rear-wheel drive, although now the top modification has a forced differential lock. Mahindra Bolero Neo is already available to order in the Indian market.
Mahindra Bolero Neo is already available to order in India, starting at $ 11,400. That’s just $ 100 more than asking for a classic condo Bolero. The company is not going to supply such cars for export, and it makes no sense: the car was too specific.
