By next year the brand will have several models without internal combustion engines and hybrids.
Following the announcement of the beginning of the test the electrical power plant of its own design company Maserati has revealed the plan for the electrification of the model range. Its implementation will begin this spring.
The first “green” car of the Italian brand will become the new sedan Ghibli, which will be the hybrid version. Earlier it was reported that cityradio will show at the motor show in Beijing, however, due to the coronavirus, the exhibition was postponed indefinitely. New date and place of the premiere yet to be announced. Technical details either, but it is assumed that a hybrid can be charged from the network and pass any distance with the engine off.
Also this year will be a supercar. This will be the first brand new Maserati to be built at a refurbished plant in Modena, and it would also have the electric version, most likely – also a hybrid. Perhaps this is the same car, a disguised prototype of which we showed last fall.
The first one hundred percent electric cars Maserati will be released in 2021. This will be a modification of the GranTurismo and GranCabrio with a new generation. Their release will establish on site in Mirafiori, in which the company invested 800 million euros.
In addition to eco-friendly models, Maserati has announced yet another crossover. For it will build a new production line in Cassino. Pre-production prototype off the Assembly line in 2021 – it’s all information for today.
