The new Mercedes EQE can once again be seen in the new preview of the German brand. This time around, the electric sedan shows off its rear end with eye-catching taillights. This is yet another teaser for the new electric sedan to go on sale in 2022 with over 600 kilometers of autonomy.
Mercedes will be showcasing three electric novelties at the IAA Munich Auto Show in 2021. The Mercedes EQE is generating the most interest as the star brand sees it as a natural replacement for the CLS.
The new electric sedan was spotted a few hours ago along with the AMG EQS and Mercedes-Maybach EQS in a teaser.
The rear of the four-door sedan is visible, which has acquired a slimmer design in the area of the light strip. It serves as a link between the headlights.
The new Mercedes EQE opted for a traditional three-volume four-door sedan concept instead of a four-door sedan and hatchback.
Inside, the novelty will have a typical dashboard of Mercedes models with a large horizontal screen. The car will receive a Hyperscreen MBUX technological dashboard. This gadget will help you stand out from the competition. Active rear axle steering is available in two modes.
EQE will hit the market at the end of 2021. The first copies will go to European dealers during January 2022. The brand will offer different versions with one motor and rear-wheel drive, as well as two 4MATIC all-wheel drive motors linked to a 72 and 90 kWh battery, with a maximum range of 520 to 650 km. In addition, it will have an 11 kW on-board charger and a dual option. This reduced the charging time by up to 80% in 30 minutes.
