Mercedes-Benz S-Class new generation will get innovative head-up display with support for augmented reality. It features the company demonstrated in the teaser video published at Facebook.
Display AR HUD displays information on the windshield, using the display region, similar to the 77-inch TV. The system shows the current speed, the current limit on the segment, highlights the boundary of the strip, and warns of additional turn arrows-pointers.
The screen “reads” information about other vehicles on the road, noting their size and safe distance, and communicates with the Navigator, displaying the distance to the end of the route. When approaching the endpoint of a path appears on the display pin label.
This display will be “top” for the new S-Class; alternatively, offer another – the same projection, but with reduced functions. In the cabin of the flagship will be a new system with MBUX separate screens multimedia and dashboard that uses machine learning technology. Three display can be set for the second row.
Ready for the next level of displays? The augmented reality head-up display (AR-HUD) of the new #SClass provides loads of #augmentedreality content for #drivingassistance systems and navigation information. #MercedesBenz #MBUX
