The reason for the stop taking orders for the E-Class sedan was the shortage of microchips, as well as the huge number of orders for the car around the world.
Mercedes-Benz has decided to suspend orders in Germany for the E-Class sedan. According to Automobilwoche, today the German company has completely exhausted its production limit. This happened due to a shortage of microchips, as well as a large number of orders for this model around the world. As a result, now Mercedes-Benz can only offer dealer, exhibition and demonstration cars to customers.
There is no official confirmation of this information yet. It is also not known whether there are problems with ordering the Mercedes-Benz E-Class in other countries of the world.
At the moment, Mercedes-Benz is already developing a new generation of the E-Class sedan. The prototype of the novelty was repeatedly caught in the lenses of photo spies during test runs. The debut of the novelty should take place before the end of this year.
In Ukraine, prices for a Mercedes-Benz E-class model start at $55,200. For this money, customers get a 2.0-liter engine with 197 horsepower.
