Mercedes-Benz has announced the start of accepting orders in Europe for new modifications of the EQA electric crossover.
The range of modifications of the electric crossover Mercedes-Benz EQA has been replenished with the all-wheel drive variants EQA 300 4Matic and EQA 350 4Matic. Unlike the basic front-wheel drive EQA 250, which went on sale in the European market in February, the new versions of the EQA 300 and EQA 350 are equipped with two electric motors: asynchronous on the front axle and synchronous on the rear.
In the EQA 300 4Matic version, the power plant produces a total of 168 kW (228 hp) and 390 Nm of torque, in the EQA 350 4Matic version – 215 kW (292 hp) and 520 Nm. From zero to “hundred” EQA 300 4Matic can accelerate in 7.7 seconds, and EQA 350 4Matic – in 6.0 seconds, while the maximum speed of both electric crossovers is limited to 160 km / h.
The new versions of the EQA 300 and EQA 350 are powered by a 66.5 kWh lithium-ion battery, the maximum charge power of which reaches 100 kW. With this current, the battery can be recharged from 10 to 80% in half an hour. The declared range of the new version of the EQA 300 with a fully charged battery is 400-426 km, the new EQA 350, when fully charged, will be able to travel up to 409-432 km in the WLTP cycle.
In the European market, the new version of the EQA 300 4Matic will cost from 53 thousand 538 euros, the prices for the more efficient EQA 350 4Matic will start at 56 thousand 215 euros.
