In addition, Mitsubishi has reported a net loss for the 1st quarter of the 2020 fiscal year (April 1 – June 30) in the order of 176 billion yen (about 1.6 billion U.S. dollars). According to the Agency Kyodo, the manufacturer has suffered losses because of falling sales due to pandemic coronavirus.
Along with this, Mitsubishi plans to increase its market share in ACEAH more than 11%, including due to the release of the three new models – SUV, pickup and minivan. Also among the tasks of the manufacturer – to continue to develop fully electric cars and hybrids and reduced annual costs by 20%.
