As part of the relaunch of the Ralliart brand, Mitsubishi is preparing a special version for the plug-in hybrid Outlander with the iconic name Evolution.
Earlier it was reported that the world premiere of new items will take place at the Tokyo Motor Show in October. The fourth generation Mitsubishi Outlander was introduced earlier this year. Details of the plug-in hybrid are still under wraps, but Mitsubishi has confirmed that it will be more powerful than its predecessor and that the traction battery capacity will increase.
It is also known that the 4WD PHEV all-wheel drive system, which uses electric motors, will provide improved fuel efficiency. If the Outlander does get an Evolution version, you can expect it to have significantly more power. But it’s also safe to say that the new crossover will definitely not be able to compete with the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution of previous years.
Mitsubishi’s Ralliart division will reportedly launch a high-performance Evolution variant of the next-generation Outlander PHEV. In addition, the crossover is expected to come standard with AWD and it will likely be powered by an electrified 2.4L four-cylinder engine. #Outlander pic.twitter.com/i2XY0pAzTq

When Mitsubishi announced the revival of the Ralliart brand in May, it released a single image of an L200 pickup truck fitted with multiple Ralliart parts, leading to speculation that this would likely be the first model Mitsubishi will launch under the revived sports brand. >
