Mitsubishi has introduced the concept of Super Height K-Wagon


The Japanese company has blended all styles of cars in a small minivan with the design of the SUV. The concept with a square design will be the starting point in a new line of kei cars for the Japanese market.

K-cart is one of many things what is surprising about Japan. This segment was created by the local government in 1949. Their main feature is the limitations of the motors and the dimensions of the vehicle. Under the hood may not be worth the engine more than 660 cubic centimeters, and its length must not exceed four metres.

Mitsubishi has decided to update its own line of similar cars, and that opened within the framework of the Tokyo motor show presented a concept Super Height K-Wagon. It is almost a prototype of the future serial model. And in spite of the configuration in the form of a small van, the car is designed for the driver who wants to travel a lot.


At first glance – it’s another square little car. However, the model received a new corporate design Mitsubishi with an expressive front part of the dynamic Shield. The side profile reminds from the minivan and the SUV, though small wheels spoil the whole impression.

As the power unit uses a small 0,66-liter engine paired with a CVT. Already in the basic configuration will be installed the security package e-Assistant, which includes a withholding system in the lane, automatic braking, collision warning system, cruise control and additional assistants.

While Mitsubishi did not disclose plans about the launch of serial Super Height K-Wagon. This is likely to happen in the next year.
