Mitsubishi returns Ralliart

Mitsubishi has officially returned the famous sports sub-brand Ralliart to its lineup. The brand stopped the production of charged cars and tuning kits back in 2010. The first models available with the new accessory package were the Pajero Sport and the L200. However, they can only be purchased in Thailand. At the same time, there is no talk of any technical modifications of such cars.

Many fans of the brand have been waiting for the return of Mitsubishi motorsport traditions. In fact, it turned out that the revived Ralliart sub-brand, available only in Thailand, is just a package of external accessories. For Pajero Sport, specialists have developed red trims for the front and rear bumpers, a black spoiler for the trunk lid, as well as moldings on the wheel arches, other mud flaps and Ralliart stickers on the sides. The same set is available for the L200 as well. In addition, the “rally” version of the pickup features plastic body protection.

The Ralliart Kit is available exclusively for RWD versions of both Mitsubishi models. Moreover, pickups with a one-and-a-half and double cabins can be painted only in white or black. The company does not specify whether the “tuning kit” will be extended to all-wheel drive versions of the models.

The next generation Outlander is expected to be the first full-fledged sports model of the Mitsubishi Ralliart.

The revival of the Ralliart sub-brand, which should open up new prospects for Mitsubishi in motorsport, became known in mid-May. Then the company announced the return of the sports division to the market.
