Mitsubishi Motors has fully declassified the restyled Eclipse Cross crossover, which occupies a place in the line between the ASX and Outlander models. Sales of the new product in Japan, Australia and New Zealand will start before the end of this year. The car will reach the United States in the first quarter of 2021.
The design of the car is made in accordance with the further development of the Dynamic Shield concept. The restyled Eclipse Cross received a darkened grille, new bumpers and narrow headlights. At the rear, the car lost its light bar, and also received a fifth door of a different design and other lights. The interior of the car is equipped with new seats and an upgraded multimedia system with an 8-inch touch display.
The range of engines of the updated Eclipse Cross includes a 1.5-liter gasoline engine. The power of the unit is 150 HP and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a CVT. Drive – on the front or on all wheels. The company also promised to release a hybrid version of the crossover. However, all the details about it are still kept secret.
