Mobilize Limo: Why Renault needs another brand?


The new Mobilize Limo is intended for use in car sharing, auto rental and taxi services. Mobilize CEO Clotilde Delbeaux said:

It was created using the unique developments of the Renault Group in the field of mobility, as well as financing programs RCI Bank and Services “.

The new Mobilize Limo is a four-door sedan with a length of 4.67 meters, a width of 1.83 meters and a height of 1.47 meters with a wheelbase of 2.75 meters. The luggage compartment volume is 411 liters, which is about 100 liters less than that of the Korean KIA K5.

The Limo is driven by an uncontested 150 hp electric motor. and 220 Nm of torque. Three driving modes are available: Eco, Normal and Sport. The user can also select one of three levels of regenerative braking intensity. From standstill to 100 km / h, the car accelerates in 9.6 seconds, and its top speed reaches 140 km / h. The power unit is powered by a 60 kWh liquid-cooled battery. On a single charge, an electric car can travel up to 450 km. It can be recharged 250 kilometers from terminals with fast charging in just 40 minutes.

The list of equipment includes eight airbags, LED optics, a digital instrument cluster, a multimedia complex with a 12.3-inch screen, adaptive cruise control and a whole range of electronic assistants.

The full debut of the Mobilize Limo is scheduled for September 8 at the Munich International Motor Show. After the debut, a test fleet of 40 cars will be created, which will appear in European taxi and car sharing services in the second half of 2022.
