More capacity – less load-carrying capacity: the Nissan e-NV200 XL

The Japanese company Nissan unveiled its new electric van. New larger car was developed in close cooperation with the firm Voltia from Europe. It is expected that sales of the Nissan e-NV200 XL in the UK will start closer to the end of the year. The novelty added to the dimensions plus 50 cm compared to the standard version in each plane. Due to this, managed to achieve a remarkably high capacity – 90% more than the standard version.

Due to the increased weight the maximum weight of the load is now less than 120 kg – this is probably the only minus, though expected news. The car was completely electric powertrain from the standard version of e-NV200. This engine is capable of producing 108 HP and runs from a rechargeable lithium-ion battery is 40 kWh.

The developers specifically decided not to equip the machine with a powerful motor for two reasons – it would lead to lower reserve and an even greater reduction in load capacity due to the large batteries.

New e-NV200 XL has a quick charge function – fully charge the car for 1 hour when using the “charger” for 50 kW. In the case of using a unit with a capacity of 7 kW, the charge will be restored in 8 hours. The cost of new items not yet announced.
