Toyota continues to fuel interest in the new generation of the Tundra TRD Pro pickup, which will debut this fall. In another short video, experts demonstrated the exquisite interior of the future model, which is combined with advanced functionality. At the same time, the technical characteristics of the novelty are still kept secret.
The 12-second video begins with a showcase of the red perforated leather on the pickup seats. The bold interior color is matched with white contrast stitching and TRD Pro logos embroidered on the seatbacks. In addition, the footage shows some of the controls, including a metal washer for switching four driving modes, as well as a wide area for wireless charging of the smartphone.
For a moment, the electronic instrument cluster is in the field of view, on which there are pitch and roll sensors depicting the silhouette of a car. The upcoming Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is expected to be equipped with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6. The new Land Cruiser 300 received the same 409-horsepower engine. Together with the unit, a 10-band automatic transmission will be offered.
The premiere of the new generation pickup will take place in the fall of 2021.
In mid-July, Toyota posted a short video showing an interesting feature of the new generation Tundra glazing. The pickup will retain the power rear window and a two-piece panoramic roof.
