South Korean brand Hyundai has unveiled a new commercial van called Staria Load.
In the spring of this year, Hyundai presented a new model Staria, the main feature of which was an unusual design “in the style of a spaceship.” Half a year ago, the model debuted in the form of a minivan, and now the South Koreans have released a version with a “van” body called Staria Load. The new product should replace the previous iLoad model in the company’s lineup.
As in the case of the minivan, the key theme in the exterior of the Hyundai Staria Load is a thin diode element at the front of the body, which “symbolizes the earth’s horizon at sunrise as viewed from space.
The Hyundai Staria Load van will be available both in a version with a 5-seater saloon and in a fully cargo version with two front seats. In the latter case, the volume of the cargo compartment is 4 thousand 935 liters, which is 509 liters more than its predecessor. Regardless of the modification, Hyundai Staria Load is offered with an uncontested 2.2-liter turbodiesel unit producing 177 hp. and 430 Nm of maximum torque. The engine works together with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The standard equipment of the Hyundai Staria Load van includes seven airbags, an electronic parking brake, keyless entry technology, and a media system with Apple CarPlay and Andriod Auto with the ability to wirelessly connect a smartphone. While the novelty has appeared on sale in Australia, where it costs from 45.7 thousand Australian dollars. Later, this version will reach other countries.
