A week ago the Spanish company SEAT (Sociedad Espanola de Automoviles de Turismo) has launched an updated version of its crossover Ateca, and now the SEAT Cupra unit, which is responsible for creating more powerful versions of regular models of the brand, introduced its version of Ateca.
Meet Cupra Ateca 2021 model year, showing the same changes in style as the normal version of the model from SEAT. The most obvious changes occurred with the front of the car, where full-led headlights are now more in line with the headlights of the other models of the brand Leon and Tarraco.
SEAT Cupra also got a new bumper that has a little more “lively design,” at the same time introducing a new set of fog lamps. As we have seen on other recent new models, the radiator grille has become more than before.
On the back of the product say nothing special, because it looks similar, including full-led taillamps with sequential turn signals.
Square exhaust pipes and numerous copper accents – a clear indication that this is no ordinary version of the crossover from SEAT. Customers can choose from six exterior colors and six designs of alloy wheels measuring 19 inches. Surcharge proposed will have Brembo brakes.
In the lounge there is a fully digital instrument panel with a size of 10.25 in supplementing a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
While the 2.0-litre petrol turbo engine carried over unchanged: 300 horsepower (221 kilowatt) and 400 Newton metres (295 lb-ft) of torque, Cupra made some adjustments to the chassis, which made the crossover for more accurate management.
From 0 to 100 km/h novelty accelerates in 4.9 seconds and top speed is 247 km/h. As before, the car is offered with seven-speed automatic transmission with dual clutch and AWD system.
