Atelier Mugen has announced the first possibilities of finalizing the new Honda HR-V, which debuted in February 2021. Notable new additions include a discreet body kit, wheels and an alternative exhaust system.
Specialists of the Mugen studio have painted front bumper and side skirts for the HR-V, as well as a couple of spoiler options on the trunk lid. In addition, the new Honda HR-V is proposed to be equipped with a set of lightweight 18-inch wheels and decorated with color inserts.
The new cross-country exhaust system is modeled on those used on the Japanese Super GT and Super Formula racing cars. The only modification available for the power plant so far is a different air filter.
Almost simultaneously with the announcement of tuning parts, Honda unveiled the characteristics of the e: HEV hybrid power plant, which the cross will be equipped with in the European market. A 1.5-liter gasoline engine and 2 electric motors will be able to develop a total of 129 horsepower (254 Nm). It is assumed that in the US Honda HR-V will be equipped with a different powertrain.
With the change of generations, the Honda HR-V received a fundamentally different appearance and a new interior architecture with a laconic design.
