European organization Euro NCAP named the model that showed the best results in crash tests 2019.
European organization Euro NCAP has identified the models that showed the best results according to the results of crash tests of 2019. Just last year, it was tested 55 vehicles, 41 of which earned five stars out of five. Now, the specialists have chosen the winners in seven major segments.
In the class “supermini” the best results showed the Renault Clio and Audi A1 of the new generation, and “silver” went to the little crossover Ford Puma.
In the category of “small family car” won the Mercedes-Benz CLA, whereas in the segment “large family car” winners named at once two models: the Tesla Model 3 and BMW 3-Series, which scored an identical number of points. The “German” showed the best results in pedestrian safety, and the American electric car – in the auxiliary systems.
Another model of “Tesla” – Model X – won first place in class “large SUV”, ahead on points SEAT Tarraco. In addition, Tesla Model 3 was named the safest car among electric vehicles and hybrids.
Finally, in the class “small SUV” the victory went to Subaru Forester new generation, while the second place is shared between Mazda CX-30 and the Volkswagen T-Cross.
